Titled "Beast of Burden", this original painting captures the spirit of mother nature. The name calls its viewer the beast of burden, seeing as how, us humans, put a strain on our mother Earth with our high demands. This painting took about a week, quickly I finished, knowing what I wanted the viewer to see. The street signs are positioned to serve as mother nature's jewelry, but also carry out a message through symbolism. The beauteous signs confront the viewer of the path he or she is on, and always reminds us that we always have at least two paths in life that we can chose to go down; and the choice is merely yours, and yours only. In my original, I actually took bits and pieces of real earrings and pierced it through the canvas to give our mother jewelry. Available in two color variations.
