A New Year’s gift for my Grandmother, and a late Christmas gift. The yellow was a request made by my grandma, for a cheerful painting. The other ideas I had for this painting were scattered through-out my days. Erica’s accident left her unable to run, and very limited, so for the first time since her accident, we thought it might be fun to try riding her bike, a baby blue beach cruiser, which you can see in this piece. My grandmother and my dog Riley, a schnauzer, sit beside her in the painting to represent the three most important beings in my life.
