For this piece , I think back to a memory where I was by the water and saw, what appeared to me as the gates of heaven. With the lights reflecting within the water, it created this shape- this tranquil void, filled with with these magnificent colors; my heart dropped . After seeing this it became my ultimate goal to recreate this beauty. There was a rare but calming feeling of peace that night out with my friends, and it had me thinking . Sometimes life feels like your standing right under heavens doorway.
